About 2 Cats/1 Cate

Cate Tallman-Evans has been designing quilts and other patterns for several magazines and fabric companies for many years. Over 200 of Cate's patterns have been published. Cate has also written the directions for many quilts designed by others.

Cate recently started designing patterns and kits for direct sale to the public and through quilt stores. These patterns have more variety and more detailed instructions than the patterns for the magazines and fabric companies.

In addition to Cate, each pattern is approved by Chester. Cate's three cats (Jasper, Chester, and Prescot) make sure she takes breaks during her long days of designing, writing, and quilting. Cate does most of the computer work herself, but sometimes receives assistance from DrBits for computer work.
